So this has happened twice now that my facebook profile caught a 30 day ban for "violating community standards" when the post they show me as the violation was completely blank. So facebook arbitrary bans people for no reason now
@Laurelai yeah, I haven't used facebook in ages and I was suddenly notified about 2 months ago that i had a 30 day ban, they just do it for shits and giggles these day i rekon.
@Laurelai I'm fairly certain that there are some employees at FB that do that sort of thing for fun.
@Laurelai I got the same notification with the same blank post, followed by a message that your page was unpublished. I think that’s what it is.
@Laurelai Yes facebook gets worse every year. There community standards keep changing, so keeping a publicly facing facebook page is moving target. I know that it is common targeted harassment technique to report a page they hate, even if there is nothing offensive. Some companies take things down based on volume of complaints or based on certain 'trusted flaggers' users. I am sure TERFs and homophobe/transphobe are
infiltrating (or at-least trying to) those trusted user lists. I don't see it as worth the hassle, so I deleted my account. #DeleteFacebook
